Mrs. Janet H. Little

Janet H. Little (nee Wolfe) age 93 years of Gibbstown went home to be with her Lord and Savior and her husband and daughter on Tuesday October 1, 2024 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Paulsboro and was a graduate of Paulsboro High School class of 1948. After her faith, family was most important to her and she was an avid supporter of her children’s and grandchildren’s numerous activities and sports. She was a life long member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church where she was very involved, serving on numerous committees, teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir and helping with St. Paul’s Women in Mission as well as monthly hoagie sales. Janet was also a Cub Scout den mother, girl scout leader, Mother advisor for Paulsboro Rainbow Assembly for Girls #70, President of the Mother’s Club of Franklin W. Horner Order of DeMolay, band booster parent, Blue Lodge Auxiliary of Clarksboro Lodge #87 F. & A.M., and a 75-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Fairview Chapter #219. She also worked as the bookkeeper for her family business, Little – Sizemore Insurance for many years. She was a kind, thoughtful and always looking for ways to help others. For many years she hosted family monthly birthday dinners which everyone enjoyed greatly. Left to cherish Janet’s memory are her children, Diane and Dean Sizemore of Surfside Beach, S.C., Wayne and Donna Little of Gibbstown; her son in law, Larry Hall of Gibbstown; her grandchildren, Doug and Lauren Little, Jen and Andrew Raab, Michael Hall and his fiancé, Sara Rhymer, Dawn and Adam Traynor, Dana Sizemore (Joe Morzuch) and Devon Sizemore; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Brea, Luke and Lily, her bonus great grandchildren, Emma and Gabby and her traveling companion, Joan Driver of Paulsboro. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Mervin Little and her daughter, Nancy Hall. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday October 5, 2024 in St. Paul’s U.M. Church, 2 East Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday morning in church after 9 AM until service time. Interment Eglington Cemetery Clarksboro.
