Mr. Thomas Harry Dysart

Thomas “Tom” Harry Dysart, born on April 5, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2026 in his home surrounded by his family. To know Tom, everyone knew anything that happened was always an adventure and it was “Tom’s way or the highway”. As he used to say there is only room for one captain on his boat, and it was always him – no exceptions! Growing up Tom had many odd jobs including his life long job of being a truck driver. Should you ever need directions, Tom was the one to call. He could pinpoint exactly where you were and give you directions step by step to get you where you where going. He could even give you directions one hour out of the way just to avoid the tolls! Tom cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie and her husband Bob Mann of Mt. Royal; his granddaughter Courtney Mann and her fiancé Justin Gartner of Pennsville; his grandson, Cody Mann of Mt. Royal; his adored great grandchildren, Charlotte and Leia Owens, who kept him on his toes in his later years; his son in law, Roscoe Willets of Mannington and his estranged daughter; grandchildren Kevin and Shelby; four great grandchildren; his sisters, Patricia and Gene Ferry of Perkasie, PA, Barbara and Joe Hutchinson of Boalsburg, PA; his brother, Harry and Patty Dysart; his nieces, Michele, Jackie, Nicole, Ali, Megan and Sara; his nephew, Christopher and many other cousins and dearest friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Rose Marie Kerr Dysart; his father, Harry Dysart and his step mother, Rosalie Dysart. In Tom’s fashion, please come as you are to the funeral service which will be held at 11 AM Wednesday April 1, 2026 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday morning after 9:30 AM until service time. Inurnment private. Tom’s legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with kindness, humor and steadfast loyalty. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and those whose life he has touched.
