Mr. Edward F. Cella

Edward F. Cella age 80 years of Mickleton passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 27, 2021 in Inspira Hospital, Mullica Hill. Mr. Cella was born and raised in Philadelphia and later lived in Collings Lakes. In 1973 he moved to Mickleton where he raised his beautiful family, which he was so proud of. He retired after 30 years as an electrician with Garlock Bearings in Thorofare. In his spare time he enjoyed Bowling, deejaying and singing karaoke. Mr. Cella volunteered his time with Abilities Solutions every year, for 15 years. He was able to make a Christmas party a fun event for individuals with disabilites and their staff, Mr. Cella knew how to raise the roof deejaying for them and making it memorable every year, at his yearly party. Mr. Cella was predeceased by his wife, Adeline “Sis” Cella; his parents, Edward J. and Rita M. Cella; his brothers, Gerald V., John J., and Lawrence D. Cella and his sister, Carolyn M. Gazzara; brothers in law, Frank and Louis Falconi and sisters in law, Eileen Falconi and Delores Falconi. He is survived by his children, Robert M. and Lisa M. Cella of Gibbstown, Teresa M. Cella of Mickleton, Suzette R. and Frederick I. Persicano of Mickleton; Proud Pop pop of his granddaughters, his prize possessions, Courtney R. Cella, Brandi L. Cella and Landyn R. Persicano; his brother, James P. Cella (Robert); his sisters, Susan C. Wescoat, Marian R. Imburgia and Diane M. (Edward) Flood; his brothers in law, Louis Gazzara, Joseph Falconi and George Falconi; sisters in law, Janice Cella and Louise Falconi; Special Pop Pop to Samantha Barasso, Richard Johnson Jr., Karl Webb and Jason Perez Jr. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly and enjoyed hearing family stories from him. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday February 3, 2021 in Eglington Cemetery, Kings Hwy, Clarksboro. All Covid regulations will be in place, Face masks and social distancing are imperitive to keep all attending safe. Arrangements by McBride – Foley Funeral Home, Paulsboro.
