Mr. Edward C. Schoenberg

September 15, 1921 - September 15, 2016

Edward C. Schoenberg age 95 years of Allentown, PA, formerly of Clarksboro, NJ died Thursday September 15, 2016 in Luther Crest Nursing Home, Allentown on his birthday. Mr. Schoenberg was born in Clarksboro and lived most of his life in East Greenwich Township. He retired as a process operator with Hercules in Gibbstown and also worked many years on the family farm. He was a member of Zion Community Church, Clarksboro, the Mickleton Grange, Independent Orderof Odd Fellows and a former Boy Scout Leader who was honored to receive the Order of the Arrow. Mr. Schoenberg enjoyed woodworking, fishing, traveling the United States in his R.V. and winters in Florida. He is survived by his son, Carl Schoenberg and his wife Susan York of Allentown, PA; his grandson, Matthew and Tracy Schoenberg of Oradell, NJ; his great grandchildren, Eve, Davis and Marissa Schoenberg and his brother George Schoenberg of Calverton, NY. Mr. Schoenberg was predeceased by his wife, Marian and his son David Schoenberg. The Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM Tuesday September 20, 2016 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday morning after 11 AM until service time. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
