Ethel Mitchell (nee Cziryak) entered into eternal life on Saturday November 18, 2017 at the age of 90. She was born in Paulsboro, raised in Gibbstown and was a graduate of Paulsboro High School Class of 1944. Ethel was the youngest child of hard – working immigrants, Sigmund and Agnes (Katona) Cziryak. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings and her husband, John W. Mitchell Sr. Ethel is survived by three children, Peggy Keath of Delaware, John Jr. and Christina Mitchell of Mickleton and Betty Ann Mitchell of Mickleton; loving grandmother to Kathy Keath of DE, John Keath of DE, Carrie and Edward Selb of Mullica Hill and Dr. Christopher and Catherine Mitchell of DE; beloved great grandmother to Tyler, Sophia, Tanner, Connor and Landon. Ethel also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as her devoted caregivers, Traci and Michelle. Ethel was a loving and generous woman who enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting and vacationing with her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday November 25, 2017 in St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St., Michael’s Church, 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown. Relatives and friends may visit with the family after 9:30 AM Saturday until Mass time. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. Arrangements by McBride – Foley Funeral Home, Paulsboro.
