Mr. George P. Hand Jr.

October 6, 1936 - January 26, 2022

George P. Hand Jr. age 85 years of Pitman, formerly of West Deptford went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 26, 2022 in Pitman Manor. George was born in Wiconisco, PA, raised in Auburn and lived in West Deptford for 54 years. He retired as transportation manager for Huntsman Polypropylene Co. (formerly Shell Chemical Co.) Woodbury after many years of service. George also served as assistant pastor to Clonmell and Billingsport U.M. Churches and after retiring was a member of Trinity U.M. Church in Mullica Hill. He was an avid Eagles fan! He is survived by his daughter, Vicki and Albert Labinski of Lindenwold; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. George was predeceased by his wife, Reba C. Hand, his daughter, Laura Lasecki and his son, George P. Hand III. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday February 1, 2022 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday morning after 10 AM until service time. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
