Mrs. Geraldine C. Finan

July 17, 1932 - February 3, 2015

Geraldine C. “Gerry” Finan (nee Kotter) age 82 years of Gibbstown died Tuesday February 3, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family. Gerry was born and raised in Paulsboro and lived in Gibbstown for over fifty years. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael’s Church, Gibbstown. Gerry enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles; but most of all she enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy and Ron Cundey of Gibbstown; her grandchildren, Ron and Veronica Cundey of Franklinville, Kristi and Ken DeLorenzo of Gibbstown, Russell Cundey(Michelle) of Gibbstown; her great grandchildren, Keri, Chelsea, Kami, Rhiannon, Kasey, Anthony, Riley and Rory; her brother, Robert Kotter of Pennsylvannia and Allan Kotter of West Deptford and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James R. Finan; her brothers, Donald, Edward and William Kotter and her sister, Katherine Smith. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Monday February 9, 2015 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Monday morning after 10 AM until service time. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Charity of one’s choice.
