Geraldine Schwebel

October 17, 1934 - April 29, 2012

Geraldine T. “Gerrie” Schwebel (nee Trautman) age 77 years of Thorofare passed away on Sunday April 29, 2012 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Schwebel was born in Camden, Raised in Gibbstown and lived in Thorofare for 56 years. She retired as Catalog Supervisor after 27 years of service at the West Deptford Township Library. Mrs. Schwebel was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Thorofare where she sang in the choir and was an active participant. She was a member of the West Deptford Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed traveling on their bus trips. Mrs. Schwebel liked trips to Strathmere, seeing plays in New York City, going to the movies and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Edward and Laurie Schwebel of Mickleton, Fred Schwebel of Gibbstown, Gerrie Lynn and Rich Dyal of West Deptford; her grandchildren, Tara, Eddie, Tommy, Jenna, Carly; and her great granddaughter, Gianna. Mrs. Schwebel was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Schwebel and her daughter, Linda Schwebel. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Friday May 4, 2012 in St. Paul’s Methodist Church, 74 Church St., Thorofare. Relatives and friends may visit with the family after 9 AM Friday in the church. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. Arrangements by McBride - Foley Funeral Home, Paulsboro.
