Gladys V. Chambers (nee Miller) age 82 years of Clarksboro died Wednesday April 19, 2017 in Inspira Hospital, Woodbury. Mrs. Chambers was born at home in Clarksboro and was a 1953 graduate of Swedesboro High School. She retired after 18 years of service in the assembly department with 3M Company in Thorofare. Mrs. Chambers enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers, trips to the Casinos and traveling to Florida with her late husband, Raymond Chambers. She is survived by her children, Joseph Nicholas Chambers and his partner, Shirley Zane and Brenda Chambers, both of Clarksboro; 3 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her brothers, Chris and Wallace Miller, both of Clarksboro and her sister, Jean Miller of Clarksboro. Mrs. Chambers was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Magazu, her brother, Norman Miller and her sisters, Bessie Nunes, Rae Chambers and Viola Wentz. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday April 25, 2017 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro.
