Ida Milliken

January 10, 1926 - April 27, 2013

Ida Milliken (nee Tancredi) age 87 years of Woodstown, formerly of Paulsboro, died Saturday April 27, 2013 in the Friends Home, Woodstown. Mrs. Milliken was born and raised in Chester, PA and moved to Paulsboro in 1949. She retired as a Secretary with Gloucester County Visiting Nurses Association, Woodbury. Mrs. Milliken was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Gibbstown; Paulsboro Women’s Club; a past Girl Scout Leader; Band Mother and a charter member of the Gibbstown Swim Club. She was a long time subscriber to the Pennsylvania Ballet, enjoyed dancing, flower arranging and traveling; especially to Hawaii and St. Thomas. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, James B. Milliken of Woodstown; her daughters, Deborah Lynne Milliken of Florence, NJ; Joanne Milliken and Chet of Coatesville, PA and her brother, Ryland and Phyllis Anastasi of Colmar, PA. Mrs. Milliken was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Beecham – Batter and her brother Rudolph Tancredi. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday May 1, 2013 in Christ Presbyterian Church, 400 Swedesboro Rd., Gibbstown. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family after 9:30 AM Wednesday until service time in the church. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
