Mrs. Jean C. Keegan

Jean C. Keegan (nee Kirkbride) age 97 years of Thorofare died Sunday July 4, 2021 in Shady Lane Home, Clarksboro. Mrs. Keegan was born and raised in Billingsport and was a 1942 graduate of Paulsboro High School. For eighteen years she worked in the cafeteria of West Deptford High School. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Thorofare and the Anchor Class and Paulette’s. Mrs. Keegan was also a member of the West Deptford Senior Citizens Club and she enjoyed cross stitch as well as crocheting blankets for her family. She is survived by her children, W. Michael III and Joanne Keegan of Thorofare, David C. and Leisa Keegan of Clarksboro, Kenneth R. Keegan and Maryann of Pine Hill, Terri J. and Walt Pawella of Phoenix, Arizona; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and her sister, Alice Kern of Woodbury. Mrs. Keegan was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William M. Keegan Jr. and her daughter, Debra Lynn Keegan. Funeral Services will be private.
