Mr. John F. DiStefano

John F. DiStefano age 72 years of Paulsboro died Thursday February 24, 2022 in his home. He was born in Woodbury, raised in Gibbstown and was a graduate of St. James High School. Mr. DiStefano retired after 25 years of service as machinist with Mobil Oil Co. He then taught automotive at Haddon Twp. High School for several years before working as a specialized aide in the automotive department for Gloucester County Special Services District. He was a member of the Quinton Gun Club and a benefactor member of the N.R.A. Mr. DiStefano enjoyed working on cars, target shooting and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Linda Mae DiStefano (nee De Angelo) of Paulsboro; his children, John and Christina DiStefano, Joe DiStefano, Jennie and Frank Damminger, all of Paulsboro; his grandchildren, Kendal, Kimberly, Ryleigh, Frankie and Joey; his sisters, Sandra DiStefano and Joyce Wood, both of Paulsboro and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday March 2, 2022 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday morning after 9 AM until service time. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. Memories can be shared at www.mcbridefoleyfh.com.
