Joseph DeAngelis Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joseph A. DeAngelis Sr. age 74 years of Ocean View, Delaware died Tuesday January 17, 2012 in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Mr. DeAngelis was born in Newark, NJ and was raised in Paulsboro. He was a 1955 graduate of Paulsboro High School where he was class President all four years. Mr. DeAngelis then attended and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University. He later lived in Woodbury Heights and Sea Isle City. Mr. DeAngelis enjoyed boating, and was proud to hold his Captain’s and Master’s License. He was a member of the Paulsboro Road Rods and also liked to fish. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois DeAngelis (nee McKenna) of Ocean View, DE; his sons, Joe and Cindy DeAngelis of Broomall, PA, Todd and Dawn DeAngelis of Wenonah; his grandchildren, Evan, Robert, Sean, Connor, Carli and Zoe; his sister, Virginia “Honey” DeAngelis of Woodbury Heights and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday January 21, 2012 in the McBride - Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Friends may call Saturday morning after 9 AM until service time. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
