Mr. Joshua "Butch" Bratton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joshua “Butch” Bratton age 70 years of Gibbstown died Thursday May 19, 2022 in his home. Butch was born in Woodbury, raised in Gibbstown and was a Paulsboro High School graduate. He was a veteran, retiring as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force with over 30 years of service with the 108th ARW. After his retirement he continued to work for the Air Force DCMA at Boeing in Philadelphia. He was a life member of the Anthony T. Calista V.F.W. Post #5579 in Gibbstown and a member of the American Power Boat Association. Butch enjoyed building custom remote control racing boats, carving duck decoys and was the proud author of the book “Not Guilty Your Honor, by Joshua Bratton.” He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie Bratton (nee Boyizigies) of Gibbstown; his son, John and Trish McConnell of Brooklawn; his daughter Cindy Weaver and her husband, Alex Croce of Gibbstown; his grandchildren, John J., Alyssa, Jason and Jenna and many nieces, nephews and in laws. Butch was predeceased by his brother, John Bratton; his sisters, Marion Medeirus, Sarah Munyan, Lillian Munyan and his twin sister, Diane Diven. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday May 24, 2022 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday morning after 9:30 until service time. Interment with military honors at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Monroe Township.
