Mrs. Linda L. Trauger

Linda L. Trauger (nee Byrd) age 72 years of Gibbstown died Saturday January 30, 2016 in Inspira Hospital surrounded by her family. Linda was born and raised in Riverside, California and after graduating from Cal Poly Tech she moved to this area to attended Drexel. She then graduated from Drexel with a Master of Design degree and taught at Delanco Middle School where she met her husband of 45 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mullica Hill; was Past PTA President in Pennsauken; Past Girl Scout Leader, Den Mother and Band Parent and was Vice President of the Gibbstown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was a volunteer in the library at Billingsport Elementary School and she enjoyed family vacations, cooking, knitting and sewing with the Trinity Knitting and Sewing Group and working as Assistant Manager at Joann Fabrics. She is survived by her beloved husband, William H. Trauger of Gibbstown; her children, Tammi L. and Randy Minix of Gibbstown, Russell L. and Tammy Trauger of Mullica Hill, Donald R. Trauger of Gibbstown, William D. and Kristina Trauger of Mt. Laurel and her grandchildren, Kristi, Robert, Wade and Evelyn. Mrs. Trauger was predeceased by her brother, Donald Riley Byrd. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM Friday February 5, 2016 in Trinity United Methodist Church, 284 Cedar Rd., Mullica Hill. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday evening from 7 to 9 PM in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 West. Broad St., Paulsboro and Friday morning after 9 AM in the church. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Gibbstown Fire Company, PO Box 47, Gibbstown, NJ 08027.
