Mildred R. Whidby (nee Schoch) age 81 years of Carneys Point died Friday August 23, 2013 in Christiana Hospital, Christiana, Delaware. She was born in Ocean City, NJ, raised in Paulsboro and Gibbstown and lived in Carneys Point after her marriage. Mrs. Whidby retired as a seamstress with Marylyn Dress Company, Salem. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her son, Rick Whidby of Carneys Point; her grandchildren, Dr. Jillian Whidby-Freund and her husband Mark Freund of Cherry Hill, Vincent Whidby of Pennsville; her sisters, Janet and Russell Munyan, Margaret “Peg” Verratti; her brothers, John and Jean Schock, Howard and Barbara Schoch, William Schoch, Robert and Marcy Schoch, Stewart and Jan Schoch and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Whidby was predeceased by her husband, Lester L. Whidby. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday August 28, 2013 in the McBride - Foley Funeral Home, 228 West Broad Street, Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday morning after 9:30 AM until service time. Interment Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
