Robert Keller Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert W. Keller Sr. age 84 years of Paulsboro died Thursday December 22, 2011 at Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. He was the son of the late George and Irene (Dibb) Keller and he was a lifetime resident of Paulsboro. Bob served in the U.S. Army in the Occupational Forces in Germany. He was an active member of the George D. Patton Jr. V.F.W. Post #678 where he served as Quartermaster for over 20 years and also a member of the Paulsboro Senior Citizens Club. Bob retired as Personnel Director for Maritrans and enjoyed 22 years of retirement. He enjoyed boating and fishing and took great pride in his garden. He was the loving husband of Irene Keller (nee Fitzgerald) and they celebrated 62 years of marriage in September; also survived by his son, Robert W. Jr. and Lil Keller of Glassboro, his daughters, JoAnn and Jerry Ray of Gibbstown and Kathy and Kevin Logue of Mullica Hill; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Bob was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Brown. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday December 27, 2011 in the McBride - Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Friends may call Tuesday morning after 10 AM until service time. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to George D. Patton Jr. V.F.W.
