Mr. Robert M. Reed Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert Reed age 75 years of Mantua died Friday January 29, 2016 in Inspira Hospital, Woodbury. Mr. Reed was born and raised in Paulsboro and graduated from Paulsboro High School Class of 1957. He was a veteran, having retired from the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy he worked as a Support Staff Supervisor for Paulsboro High School. He was a Life Member of the George D. Patton VFW Post #678 where he was Past Commander; Life Member of the Military Order of the Cooties, Pup Tent #34, Verga where he was Past Senior Squirrel; Past District #13 Commander for Gloucester County and a Life Member of the National Home Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Reed was an avid fisherman in his spare time. He is survived by his children, Bob Jr. and Karen Reed of Deptford, Bill and Kathy Higbee of Paulsboro, Mike and Toni Reed of Mantua; his grandchildren, Beth, Jenna, Robbyn, Kerri, Kylea, Brandon and Mike; his great grandson, Reedy Boy; his brother, Marty and Ann Behr of Elkton, Maryland and his sister, Elaine Behr of Pitman. Mr. Reed was predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty Reed. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday February 2, 2016 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 West Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday morning after 9 AM until service time. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Monroe Twp.
