Mrs. Shirley Sceno

Shirley Sceno (nee Blum) age 80 years of Paulsboro died Sunday December 4, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Sceno was a life long Paulsboro resident and a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. John’s Church. She worked as a teacher for ten years at Repauno Day Care in Gibbstown. Mrs. Sceno enjoyed camping in Chincoteague, Virginia; was an avid Bingo player and also liked trips to the Casinos. She was very devoted to her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Vincent Jr. and Leigh Sceno and Sharon and Dave Freeman, both of Paulsboro; her grandchildren, Vincent and Jennifer Sceno, Carmen Sceno, Jason Sceno, Gwen and Chris Croce and Brian Freeman; her step granddaughter, Noelle Jacob; her brother, Worthington and Frances Blum of Bridgeport, her sister, Evelyn and John Woodburn of Chesapeake, Virginia, her sister in law, Eleanor Blum of Gibbstown , many nieces and nephews and her pet cat, Bianca. Mrs. Sceno was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Sceno. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday December 8, 2016 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro.
