Wilma Walter

Wilma G. Walter (nee Wilson) age 84 years of Repaupo died Friday October 26, 2012 in Salem Hospital, Salem. Wilma was born and raised in Paulsboro and she attended Paulsboro High School. After High School, she worked at the Bryna Shop for 18 years. Mrs. Walter was a homemaker, wife and mother and lived on Repaupo for sixty years. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Gibbstown and she enjoyed trips to the casinos and baking pies. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, George M. Walter of Repaupo; her daughters, Judy and Ray Gillis and Linda Hair, both of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; her grandchildren, George and Kathy Gillis of Bel Air, MD, Joe and Debra Gillis of Boulder, Wyoming, James and Victoria Gillis of Mebane, NC, Lisa and Edward Sager of Alexandria, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Kelsie, Asela, Rodrigo and Lorca Gillis; her sisters, Jayne Del Grosso of Waterbury, CT and Anna Miskofsky of Williamstown and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Walter was predeceased by her brothers, George and Bob Wilson and her sister, Lillian Lehman. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Monday November 5, 2012 in the McBride - Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and Friends may call Monday morning after 10 AM until service time. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Swedesboro. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
