Miss Alisha Beth Hoelle

Alisha Beth Hoelle, born March 8, 1985 in Stratford, NJ, passed away on November 28, 2013 in Philadelphia, PA, surrounded by her loving family. She grew up in Gibbstown, NJ, graduating in 2003 from Paulsboro High School as a member of the National Honor Society. Alisha attended Gloucester County College where she earned an Associates Degree in Psychology. Tenacious, intelligent, endearing, funny, wise, witty, and uninhibited are just a few ways to describe Alisha and the way she chose to live her life. She didn't let her struggles become obstacles, she used them as opportunities to learn and grow. Alisha will always be remembered not only for her compassion but also for reaching out and serving others. This began in her younger years by becoming an alter server at St. Michael's Church and continued with her involvement at both Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on the Youth Advisory Committee and REACH in addition to The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp. Alisha also served as a Volunteer Regional Coordinator for the Oley Foundation, an outreach position to help those who are on nutrition support. Alisha is survived by her parents, Jeff and Rose Cucinotta Hoelle of Gibbstown, maternal grandfather Domenick Cucinotta, paternal grandmother Edith Hoelle, Aunt April (Bill) Green, Uncle Andrew (Lee Ann) Hoelle, Uncle Nick (Rita) Cucinotta, Aunt Lori (Tom) Greenwood, Cousins Sharon DeHart, John Green, Domenick Cucinotta, Michael Cucinotta, Gab Cucinotta, Tom Greenwood and Melanie Greenwood in addition to her beloved pets Nina, Gizmo, Luigi and Leo. Alisha was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Lydia Cucinotta, paternal grandfather Kurt Hoelle and cousin Holly Green. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday December 5, 2013 in St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael’s Church, Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening in the church from 6 to 8:30 PM and Thursday morning after 10 AM until Mass time. Inurnment private.
